For over two thousand years, Sri Lanka — the "island of gems" — has yielded the world's most storied sapphires, from the stones of ancient royal courts to the engagement ring of the Princess of Wales. Angelite Gems & Jewellers was founded to carry that heritage to a discerning international clientele.
We work close to the source. Our stones are won the traditional way — washed by hand from river gravels — then cut, certified and documented before they ever reach a client. Every piece leaves our Negombo atelier with its origin, treatment and grading disclosed in full.

Angelite Gems & Jewellers is the vision of Anjalica De Mel — one of her prestigious ventures serving clients worldwide. Raised with Sri Lanka's gem heritage and guided by an uncompromising eye for colour and cut, she built the house on a simple conviction: a great gemstone deserves both beauty and proof.
Under her direction, every stone is selected personally, certified independently, and presented with the discretion expected by international collectors — from first inquiry to the moment a piece arrives at your door.
